Summer School on Homotopy Colimits

Homotopy limits and colimits are a fundamental tool in homotopy theory, with applications to topology, geometry, and algebra. The event is aimed at graduate students, postdocs, and early-career researchers who want to learn more about this topic.

The program consists of five minicourses.

  • Inna Zakharevich (Cornell University): Classical homotopy theory and model categories.
  • Chris Kapulkin (Western University): $\infty$-categories.
  • Anna Marie Bohmann (Vanderbilt University): Equivariant homotopy theory.
  • Brenda Johnson (Union College): Functor calculus.
  • Omar Antolín Camarena (UNAM Mexico City): Homotopy theory of classifying spaces.
