Abstract:
This talk explores how convexity assumptions provide a powerful alternative source of regularity in high dimensions, mirroring structured settings like spheres and Gaussian measures. We will dive into how Lipschitz functions concentrate, the optimality of half-spaces, and the driving role of Bourgain’s slicing problem in recent breakthroughs. Based on joint works with P. Bizeul and J. Lehec, this session invites researchers to connect and discuss these geometric phenomena.
